Seminar and workshops

The Department of Commerce imparts training regarding Accounting Software (Such as Tally, ITR Filing and GST) by Professional CA & CS and also organizes many seminars and workshops for the overall development and creating a vision for looking and facing the happenings in real world and changes taking place in today’s era in the Commercial and Financial Sectors apart from syllabus.

Following are the major topics:-

1. Basics of Income-tax return filing (Practical exposure for filing ITR1.)
2. Basics of accounting in Tally with practical problems of Corporate sector data.
3. Workshop and Training regarding GST.

Industrial Training and Visits

 Industrial Training and visits are great source to gain practical knowledge by which students may observe and learn as to how theoretical concepts are put into action and also help them to expose real working environment and show how things are done in such organizations. These are planned for supporting student’s research activity and practical exposure.

Every year, the UG and PG students visit:

1. National Stock Exchange (NSE).
2. Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
3. Banking and Financial Institutes.
4. Corporate Sectors Visits.
